David Wellington is the author of over twenty novels of horror, suspense, and science fiction. He got his start serializing his first novel, Monster Island, on the web in 2003 and has worked full time as an author ever since. His novel The Last Astronaut was short-listed for the Arthur C. Clarke award. He lives and works in New York City.
